• Designate trusted contacts to receive access to your information
• Create legacy letters for loved ones
• Configure automatic notification systems (dead man's switch)

3. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Ensure all information you provide is accurate
• Not store illegal or harmful content
• Respect the privacy of your trusted contacts
• Obtain proper consent before adding someone as a trusted contact
• Keep your check-in schedule to maintain account status

5. Dead Man's Switch Feature

Our Service includes a "dead man's switch" feature that requires regular check-ins. By using this feature, you understand and agree that:

• Missing scheduled check-ins will trigger notifications to your trusted contacts
• After the grace period, your designated information will be shared with trusted contacts
• This process is automatic and cannot be reversed once initiated
• It is your responsibility to maintain accurate contact information for trusted contacts
• LifeLedger is not liable for any consequences of information release

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LifeLedger and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your content remains yours; by using our Service, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.

8. Subscription and Payments

Some features of our Service require a paid subscription:

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeLedger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service. 11. Termination

• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Request account deletion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy guidelines.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LifeLedger is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
